Company Introduction

Fortune Biotech grew out of Yutai Chemical Plant which was founded in 1970. Later developed from Yutai Orient Field Chemical Co.,Ltd. Fortune Biotech is one of the earliest carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) manufacturing enterprises, and is council member of the China Cellulose Industry Association. The company is located at Zhanghuang Industrial Zone at Yutai Country, Jining City, Shandong Province with total assets of 130 millions and areas of 108 acres. The company integrates R&D, manufacturing and sales into one unit, with 160 employess and 22 R&D staff. Over 40 years’ technical accumulation makes the products have higher purity (99.5%), higher viscosity (above 10000mPa.s) and higher degree of substitution (more than 1.2).

Fortune Biotech has strong scientific research force, perfect R&D team, and employs several well-known experts at home and abroad to supply top-class technical support. R&D products achieve international advanced level. Manufacturing shops adopt DCS control system to operate the running of equipment. The automatic production line is compatible with the control system, is suitable for multi-species’ production of the same product. Product packing system is built according to GMP standard, achieving fully automatic closed production from raw material input to finished products packaging, with annual yield of 20,000 tons and output value of RMB 400 millions.

1970: Shandong Yutai Chemical Plant was established

1979: Shandong Yutai Chemical Plant was designated as a "National CMC Designated Production Plant".

2001: Entered into a joint venture with British Oren Biotechnology Group to establish Yutai Orient Field Industrial Chemical Co., Ltd., with an annual production capacity of 10,000 tons.

2013: Invested 130 million RMB to establish Jining Fortune Biotech Co., Ltd.

2015: Jining Fortune Biotech Co., Ltd. commenced smooth operations, achieving an annual production capacity of 20,000 tons.
